The evenings are getting brighter each day and of course the clocks will be going back next week (more daylight!) If you’re anything like me you will be very much looking forward to this.

Spring is certainly on the way !

For a farmer, springtime is his most active time. It’s then when he must work around the clock, up before the sun and working till late. He must keep his equipment running at full capacity because he has but a small window of time for the planting of his crop.

When winter comes, there is less for him to do to keep him busy.

There is a lesson here: Learn to use the seasons of life.

Decide when to pour it on and when to ease back, when to take advantage and when to let things ride.

It’s easy to keep going from 9-5 year in and year out and lose a natural sense of priorities and cycles, letting one year blend into another in a seemingly endless parade of tasks and responsibilities.

Just as nature transitions from Spring to Summer, Autumn, and Winter - our lives evolve through periods of growth, abundance, transition, and reflection.

Embracing this natural rhythm allows us to navigate life's ebb and flow with grace and resilience.

In spring, we plant the seeds of our dreams and aspirations, nurturing them with hope and determination.

Summer brings the fruition of our efforts, a time of abundance and celebration.

Yet, like the falling leaves of autumn, we inevitably face seasons of change and challenge, where we must adapt and evolve.

And in the quiet solitude of winter, we find renewal and introspection, preparing for the cycle to begin again.

Through it all, I remind you that every season serves a purpose, offering valuable lessons and opportunities for growth.

Affirmation of the week.. ?

"As spring blooms, I plant my seeds of intention; nurturing growth, abundance, and possibilities.”

Here are 3 steps to guide you into this new season:

(grab a pen and your journal/a blank page)

  1. REFLECTION: Consider the areas of your life where you're experiencing growth. Reflect on the progress you've made since the beginning of the year. What new opportunities are emerging? How can you nurture these areas of growth as you move forward into this new season? Write down all the good things about 2024 this far and the areas you’d like to make some changes.

  1. THE SEEDS OF INTENTION: Spring is a time of new beginnings and fresh starts. Take this opportunity to set intentions and goals for the season ahead. What do you hope to cultivate in your life by summer? What would you like to be celebrating? Maybe it’s setting a savings target for that summer holiday? maybe you’d like to lose some weight? maybe you’d like to work on your fitness so that you can take up some summer hiking? Write down your aspirations and the steps you'll take to plant the seeds of intention for the months to come.

  1. EMBRACE CHANGE: Letting go and moving forward just as nature sheds its winter coat, consider what you need to release in order to make space for new growth in your life. Reflect on any habits, beliefs, or situations that no longer serve you. How can you let go of the old to make way for the new? Write about the changes you're ready to embrace as you transition into spring.
